Here's my latest desktop. Dunno why I'm reposting but I guess its good to update this thread to see what people are running :)

I think I was running Gentoo before, now I'm running Fedora 4.

FC4 - That's cool.
I like Fedora - and maintain a few packages in Fedora Extras :)

The screenshot I posted was from Fedora Rawhide (devel branch) back in October.

I need to get a SuSE and Mandrake (or Mandrive or whatever they call it install) to test compatability with my teTeX rpm project (which is what is being hosted by you guys)

I've heard alot of good things about Fedora, hopefully someday I can get around to installing it. My desktop is still very minimal although I am using Openbox now. My Mac OS X screenshot is slightly more interesting, but not by much.

In terms of Linux distros, I really like the Gentoo philosophy the best, and if I had infinite time and paitence to wait on really long compile times even on fast machines, I'd stay with them.

But, I chose to go the Fedora way because it's just the best supported branch of Linux in terms of third party support, etc. RPM is a great binary package format. I tried Ubuntu 5.1 after Gentoo and before FC4 but I just didn't get as warm and fuzzy feeling I get with Fedora. Hard to explain.
