I think, sometime in the (near) future, you and I should finally colloborate (sp?) and decide on how to properly implement and order the project. We could use something like a virtual whiteboard (theres one in portage called coccinella ), or a networked editor, and plan out, hopefully in detail, how to properly put together the project so it will allow practically unlimited expansion without the need of complete rewrites. Something along the lines of an ultimate goal/plan that we can follow instead of deciding what to add in next on a whim.

If not, that's okay too ;)

EDIT: oooh, ajax :)
Collaborative Text Editor: gobby (it is also in portage, and it's GTK)

We have a Basecamp account. I can create a project there and let all of the developers in! It has Writeboard now too.

Let me know if you're interested.

Basecamp does look useful, and it would be nice to be able to access the project info from all platforms. Would I have to sign up to use the whiteboard and other functions or...? I've never really used anything like this.

EDIT: And thanks for the moderator status ;)

it would definately be helpful to have a centralization for communication, sharing of thoughts and ideas and access in a single place.

basecamp has my vote!
