I'm starting to develop in Ruby using WxRuby. Any comments about it? the only problem so far is that the documentation is not very complete, but its seems great

Well All i have to say is... THAT ITS MY FAVORITE GUI TOOL KIT!!.
P.S. I lied I have more to say. if your gonna make a program I recommend that You Use Visual Wx (http://visualwx.altervista.org/)
its kinda like Visual studios, but works with Wx Ruby, Wx Perl, Wx Python, and Wx Widgets(thats the C++ thingy)
The only problem that I came across (but quickly solved) was that it uses more than one file, and no compiler.
I solved that problem with tar2rubyscript.rb, rubyscript2exe.rb, and resource hacker(which isnt really a hack tool, it allows you change the embeded icon)
and to get more information about tar2rubyscript.rb and rubyscript2exe.rb just go here (http://s14.invisionfree.com/Ruby_R_US/index.php?showforum=28)

Me too, I love wxRuby (in a non gay way) and I use Visual Wx now. When I started I just used code and since Springbov pointed Visual Wx out to me I use it alot.
I would give it 10/10. Maybe 11/10.
p.s. I just realized this was my first post! Ah, who cares!

the only problem I saw with wxRuby is that when I was looking at it (~3 months ago) they were re-designing it around SWIG. And no concrete ruby classes like WX::Object exist yet in Ruby code.
...so I kinda couldn't figure out some things I wanted to do at the time.
BUT, it has ok documentation and yes Visual Wx is nice...if you like the VB typeof thing :/.

I use VisualWx to create the GUI and then take the code out and work on it from there. I think VisualWx is only good for the GUI because it deletes any additional code you enter afterwards.
I heard there are some better Ruby GUI Toolkits but I just worried that I have to learn the unique syntax of the toolkit. So for now, I still with wxRuby.
